You are welcomed to attend a sneak preview of Steinway Artist Sandra Wright Shen’s recital. Sandra will talk about some of Debussy preludes and a piece by Spanish composer Granados, which forms a sharp contrast between gentle vs. bold expressiveness, subtle implicit expression vs. passionate extroverted gestures. Interestingly, these pieces were inspired by paintings and images. Come hear how the composers paint with piano!
Sandra Wright Shen has been described as a classical “pianist of the first order” and a “heartstopping beauty”. With her passion, musicality, and inspiration, she aims to move hearts through music.
